Accessible through the Amdanda Gate, near Ramnagar, 30 jeeps are allowed daily and can be booked in advance. During the British colonial era, this was a popular hunting destination. The area boasts a vast network of bush trails, ideal for jeep safaris. A large population of tigers and other wild animals resides here, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Situated on the eastern edge of Corbett National Park, Bijrani is home to a diverse flora and fauna, including sal forests in the higher elevations and mixed tropical deciduous forests in the valleys and lower elevations. Its abundant spring water and year-round artificial irrigation ponds, along with vast grasslands, provide excellent prey for big cats and grazing grounds for herbivores.


The Bijrani Tourist Area is a very popular area within the magnificent Corbett Tiger Reserve. Rich in a variety of flora and fauna, it rivals the Dekala area in popularity among tourists. It is renowned for its spectacular views and tranquility. Visitors rave about the beauty of this area, which boasts the park's highest tiger population. Bijrani offers diverse terrain, including dense sal forests and grasslands. Access to the area is via the Amdanda Gate.


Accommodation in Bijrani has guesthouses in the Bijrani and Malani forests. The Bijrani guesthouse offers six rooms (four double and two single), as well as a shared dormitory with four beds. Facilities include a restaurant and cafeteria. Elephant rides are also available in the forest. This area is a popular habitat for wild animals and birds, largely untouched by human activity. The chances of spotting tigers, sloth bears, or herds of elephants are high in this part of the park. Malani Guesthouse, which offers two double rooms, is popular with birdwatchers and tourists seeking peace. The stunning beauty of Bijrani is truly captivating. The area boasts vast grasslands, dense forests, extensive waterways, and a remarkable variety of flora and fauna.


Bijrani Safari is known for its rich biodiversity. Located a short distance from Ramnagar, it is especially popular with nature lovers who visit the park during the day. This area offers visitors a memorable experience amidst the magnificent forests.


Food and Other Services The park has its own restaurant and cafeteria, which offer an open buffet with high-quality dishes at reasonable prices.


Accommodation Bijrani (FRH): Built in the 1930s, the Malani Forest Rest House is on the edge of the Central Area of Corbett National Park, about 12 km northwest of Bijrani. From Bijrani, visitors pass through Machan Chor and follow old forest paths to Malani. There, they can see deer grazing in the meadows, male elephants stripping bark from trees, or, with some luck, even spot a bear or leopard. Named after the Malani Sot River, this small cottage offers a beautiful and tranquil retreat. It's one of the best places to relax and watch birds.
