Jeep safaris in Jim Corbett National Park are one of the most popular adventures for visitors to India's oldest national park. Booking a jeep safari online in Jim Corbett National Park offers a close-up view of wildlife. The most famous animal is the Bengal tiger, which wildlife enthusiasts from around the world hope to see on a jeep safari in Corbett National Park. Jim Corbett National Park offers two, four-hour safaris daily in the forest. Visitors can book jeep safaris online in six areas: Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, Durgadevi, Garjiya, and Corbett Nature Reserve (Sitawani Tourist Area).

Bijrani Jeep Safari Area (October 15 - June 30): The Bijrani Jeep Safari Area is a very popular area within Corbett National Park (Corbett Tiger Reserve). This area is known for its rich biodiversity, including flowers, trees, and wildlife. Most people visit the Bijrani region by jeep. Due to the limited availability of jungle safari permits, they must be booked up to 45 days in advance. Jim Corbett National Park management has allocated 30 jeeps for the Bijrani area in each morning and afternoon shift. The entrance to the Bijrani area is at the Amdanda Gate, 2 kilometers from Ramnagar, a town within Jim Corbett National Park.

Jhirna Jeep Safari (Open Year-Round): One of the most exciting areas of Jim Corbett National Park, the Jirnha Jeep Safari is home to the park's largest tigers, averaging 9 meters in length and weighing 150 kg. With its mountains and vast grasslands, the Jirnha area attracts solo travelers and jeep safari enthusiasts. Booking a jeep safari in the Jirnha area online is the easiest way to experience it. Bookings start at a few jungle safaris (30 jeeps in the morning and 30 in the afternoon) and can be booked up to 45 days in advance. The entrance to the Jirana Jeep Safari is at the Dhela Gate, 15 km from Ramnagar.

Dhela Region Jeep Safari (Open Year-Round)

Opened in Jim Corbett National Park in January 2015, the Dhela Region Jeep Safari has been a popular tourist destination since 2018. The vast savanna plains, reminiscent of African forests, are a prime hunting ground for Bengal tigers. Herds of deer and elephants grazing in the vast grasslands also impress visitors.

Dhela Region Jeep Safari (Open Year-Round): Jim Corbett National Park management approves 15 morning and 15 afternoon jeep safaris in the Dhela Region. Bookings can be made 45 days in advance, and the safari closes once all slots are filled. Durgadevi Jeep Safari (November 15 - June 15): Online booking for the Durgadevi Jeep Safari in Jim Corbett National Park begins at the Lohachur Gate. Mahseer fish, over 100 species of birds, the Munnigan's gazelle (also known as the Kakkad), and the Ramganga River, the heart of Jim Corbett National Park, make the Durgadevi Jeep Safari a true feast for the eyes. Bookings for the Durgadevi Jeep Safari are available online, with limited capacity, and can be made 45 days in advance. Jeeps are the primary mode of experience for the Durgadevi Jungle Safari. A maximum of 11 jeep safaris are available in the morning and 11 in the afternoon.

Corbett Scenic Area (Sitapani): (October 15 - June 30)

The 90-square-kilometer Pawalgarh Ecotourism Project area is known as the SitabaniJeep Safari Zone. This area is excellent for tourists interested in birding and wildlife. Many wild animals, such as deer, sambar deer, bears, otters, and the famous Bengal tiger, are more commonly seen in the Sitabaniarea than in other jungle safari zones. Booking for SitabaniJeep Safari is done on the spot.
